Lady Eagle Game

Does not seem to be a lot of interest in UNT basketball. But with the lady’s game tomorrow what are the group opinions on their chance of success. IMHO they have proven they can beat any team in the conference but have certainly not proven they can consistently win. Winning four games in a row would be a challenge. However, because of the lack of a dominating team in the conference, I believe the Eagles have a good shot at the title.

I saw them beat FIU and NMSU handily at home, so I think they could beat anybody, maybe win a few games and have a nice run, or they could lose another close on to UALR in the first game.

I kind of agree with IronMan. They could win a few games in the tourney, OR lose first round. I'm hoping we bring our 'A' game otherwise UALR will take it to us.

I think if they can get up by 20 by half-time, the game will be ours, but if it's close or they are losing the last half of the 2nd half.. they don't stand a chance. Every game this year, about the last 6 minutes they slide and let the other team have about 10-15 unanswered points... if they can get through that, they'll be fine.

Also, i don't think history or streaks have anything to do with the girls winning or losing.... lately it seems like they are either destined to win or determined to lose...

I wouldn't feel safe with a 20 point halftime lead. They have shown they can let anyone back in the game no matter the situation, but they have also shown they have the talent to finish it off at times. It should be an interesting tournament for the Ladies, much more so than the men.
