Clemson Versus North Texas Depth Chart

Their oline and FBs are huge. We're going to see a 65-70% run ratio and our DEs are going to get worked....we better bring the whole group and rotate them like crazy.

This is the thing that popped out at me as well. Our defense is going to have to bring the lunch pail for this one. Got to have sure tackling all the way around. Cannot quit on plays.

I can take losing a game the way we lost to OU during the Simon/Dickey years, 30/40 something to 10 or so. But, a blowout would be bad.

Their receivers are bigger than OU had in 2007 when they ran up and down the field against us. That scares me somewhat. But, we've got bigger CBs and better coaching in the secondary than we did on that day as well.

We've got a bigger, stronger armed QB, an experience offensive line, and an offensive coordinator who has been to places like Clemson and bigger in his career. That will help us/

The main thing about Clemson is their defense is stout. If we can keep from turning the ball over on offense and have sure tackling on defense, I think we can make a pretty good showing for ourselves and maybe even keep it close.

Exactly...

We need to play to our strength, the o-line, and get some sustained drives going. I'm talking about some 12-15 play drives that chew up clock, yardage, and hopefully, wear down the Clemson D. Lance has an opportunity for a career defining game here and with a little trickeration mixed in along the way, this thing can be very competitive.
