PESH lost in OT: 49-48. Looks like Quoner saw a good game.

It was an exciting game -- that's for sure. I felt bad for PESH. They lost their opener to Flower Mound last year and blew a double digit lead the same way. This was worse because they had a 17 point lead and couldn't run out the clock with the spread. Arlington also came back running 3 plays and it got to the point where the other dads/husbands and I could yell at out what play Arlington was running before they ran it. Also, Arlington now wears a very familiar shade of green.

I also enjoyed a special guest appearance by Candace Crawford for the game. Eye candy aside, watching a girl set up to record the winning play with voiceover while tweeting the final plays of OT was somewhat impressive.

Richardson Pearce Mustangs @ Lake Dallas Falcons

Kind of torn here because I went to Pearce, but have lived in the LDISD for 4 years now and have adopted them. I just want to see some football! Go Mustangs! Go Falcons!

Meltdown by LD of a 23-14 lead with just over 4 min left leads to a Pearce time-expiring field goal for a 24-23 win.

My alma mater Jefferson lost to Pittsburg 41-27. They were down 28-27 with 1:52 left in the game but had a turnover meltdown. One positive in this is that the Pittsburg qb is a UNT recruit Mitch Manely and he threw for 272 yards and 4 tds.
