We will average 27,000 with a couple of sell outs and we realize we built the stadium too small. Our attendance has been rising each year despite a losing record, give us some wins and we will be near capacity by next year. Last I heard this thing only seats 28,000, with a total capacity of 32,000.

I would look for somewhere between 23K & 24K average for next season.

There is alot of anticipation about the stadium so I would expect the place to be packed for the Houston opener. That should help the average remain at least above 20K all season.

It will be very disappointing and possibly quite embarrassing if we average anything less than 25K every game and that even includes the one during thanksgiving weekend should we be playing at home. The new stadium should be an attraction and regardless, there will be a lot of optimism. If we have a good year and possibly a bowl game that will be good and even if we have a total failure of a year and Dodge gets the boot, I anticipate RV will make a splash HC move to open up the new stadium and hire someone people are very familiar with like a Franchione or something like that. Just my thoughts.

What he said, plus 1,000 on the average. We will have two near capacity/capacity crowds and average about 22,500 on the other four.

Book it!

I guarantee you the first game will be sold out. Almost anyone and everyone I know, including people who could care less about football, or North texas football for that matter have said they wouldn't miss the first game for the world.

The potential to draw these casual fans in to weekly fans is going to be incredible, and if they don't want to come back for the next home game, there will be another group eager to take their place. I legitimately have not heard one person say they're not going to the first game in FoutsV2.0
