From what I've heard, grades were an initial concern...but Washburn would be academically eligible this season. I can't imagine there are too many top programs with available scholarships remaining...

Those closer to home, any word on Washburn's intentions? Certainly, the Williams and Norris commits don't hurt.

He will be next year. Not sure why there's a one year delay... Maybe academic stuff like what K.C. Ross-Miller is doing at FIU?

The Miners’ November signees will join 6-0 guard Jacques Streeter (Los Angeles, Calif./Fremont HS/Findlay Prep/Cal State Fullerton) and 6-7 forward Julian Washburn (Duncanville, Texas/Duncanville HS) as additions to the 2011-12 roster. Both are currently enrolled in school.
