It may be a long shot unless there is a strong push made by ESPN, which takes over this season as the broadcast partner for BCS games. But with enough legal pressure applied to expand the BCS system, combined with the X-factor of ESPN's involvement, the Cotton Bowl eventually could benefit from the ongoing shakeup in the Mountain West. So could North Texas, which projects as a logical candidate for WAC expansion.:shocking:

Please people, quit putting North Texas as interested with the WAC. Most of us don't want to go to that sinking ship.
