Mwc Now The Old Big West!

The WAC sucked when it had Boise and it still sucks today! Staying away from that conference was one of the wisest things our AD did.

Three things can happen:

1) Some of the Texas, OK and La. schools band together and start a new conference that creates natural rivalries.

2) Somehow we get into CUSA, which isn't much better than the Sun Belt. It just provides a few more natural rivalries.

3) Build the Sun Belt.

Hey, wouldn't it blow everyone away if we received an invitation to the Big 12 or whatever they are called today?

Regardless, I think that we will come out of this OK! Just have a good feeling about the people we have in charge.

Who would have ever thought that the MWC and WAC would blow up before the little ole Sun Belt?

So you wouldn't want to be in a conference with TCU, Boise State, Fresno State, Nevada, and potentially BYU? Not to mention Colorado State and Air Force are very good schools to play. I can see why NT athletics has been where they are in its history. Every school in the MWC is clearly better than any school in the Belt. This isn't the same Big West. Get out of your good ol days syndrome. We are in 2010 now.

I would love to be in that conference, but if you glance at Killerfrogs.com you will see Meangreenbob is correct about the Frog fans wanting to vomit about their conference.

As for the "Get out of your good ol days syndrome," those were NOT the good old days. As Edmund Burke pointed out "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it." That was exactly why I was always against NT joining the WAC.
