Wow. What are they going to do , force him to suit up and play ? While I don't agree with Young's backing out of a already signed LOI , you pretty much shoot yourself in the foot if your Providence if you ever want to recruit the Houston area again.

You know...I think I side with Keno Davis and PC on this one. Young's father wasn't coaching at UH when he signed with PC...now Joe Young wants to come home and his dad now just so happens to be hired as an assistant in his home town. There are far too many of these kinds of hirings going on in college basketball.

Verbal commits are non-binding...NLIs are binding, it's a contract...and if you break a contract there needs to be some kind of repercussions. I feel bad Young is going to have to sit out a year, but he made his bed.
