Watched my first complete Desperados game

This arena league might catch on...the games are full of offense with amazing catches and hard hits.

The game was on NBC Sunday and the Desperados beat Danny White coached Arizona 65-64 in OT.

Arizona missed a FG as time expired that would have won the game and missed an XP in OT that was the difference.

It was a very good game and great for everyone starved for football on Sundays.

Erin and I went to a Desperados game last year and I have to say it is one of the best sports atmospheres I have ever been around. NT admin should seriously attend a game and see what they do to keep the crowd involoved.

Also, you gotta cheer for the Dallas player named Denton.

I had never really heard too much about Arena Football until this year, and I definately want to go to a Desperados game. The game today on tv today was a good one as well.

I meant on the national sports scene.

I knew that it has been around for a while because I have seen some games before (just not any Desperado games) when I was younger on ESPN. They would come on tape delay at like 2 AM. I also knew that the championship game has been on national TV the last few years and they even started a second arena league (learned this from the helmet project).

I just think it might stick on national TV (unlike another football league did a few years ago). Maybe then the fan base won't be regionalized and the AFL would get covered on SportsCenter and ESPN.com and treated like a real sport.

It has a good chance to take off in popularity offering football over the spring and summer.
