WOW - Over 30,000 season tickets sold at ECU

A new all-time record in season tickets sales at East Carolina.. 22,250 season tickets have been sold. Also, an additional 7,800 season tickets have been sold to students at $40 in the Student Pirate Club (also a record) bringing the total to over 30,000 season tickets.

I'm amazed. Proud the Pirates have stepped up.

Somewhere here I read that the Mean Green Club has about 460 members.

Looking at the Bronco Athletic Association site on Facebook, they claim 4,000 members.

We have a ways to go.

We sure do when it comes to support for a program many people "claim" to support. The good news is that support is growing, the bad news is that it is at a snail's pace...the cost of season tickets at UNT is VERY VERY reasonable. If you can't find room for anything else in the budget, consider buying one season ticket. Numbers are very important in trying to sell stadium naming rights, boxes, club seating, etc.

THe way I see it is for around 100 bucks you can buy season tickets. Even in a bad economy that is doable. So please put the next 100 dollars you have to spend towards buying season Tickets. You won't be sorry!

My understanding is they will let you spread it out over time so for like 6-7 bucks a month you are a season ticket holder. I think in terms of bang for the buck buying season tickets may be the best way to help the program.
