This piece by Greg Doyel at CBS Sports touches on the oversigning done by the BCS schools. I'm not sure it has turned out this way at Troy, but these big schools basically oversign, allow the players to qualify and report, have too many players in fall to put on their roster, and cut players from their promised scholarship.

Good article. I agree, it's not right to kick some kid off the team, if you made a commitment to him and he is doing everything expected of him. That QB- Chris Garrett, was he someone we looked at when LSU dumped him?
