Snake Pit Game?

Since we always have these creampuff exhibition games to start the season (which look extra empty in the super pit) why not make it an annual thing to start off in the snake pit (men's gym)?

Thoughts.

Went to the Snakepit game a couple of years ago. Completely unimpressed. I expected the lower bleachers to be pulled out so you could be closer to the action. They weren't. If it is the same way again, I'll wait for the 1st game at the Superpit. But, that's just me.

I agree. Being in those uncomfortable upper bleachers...didn't do much for me either.

It was real cool how loud it was in their....but the logistics of everything made it a nightmare...would prefer not to do it again unless they change some things.

If they pull the lower bleachers out...YES, if not...count me out. Terrible seating and the view can become blocked in front of you. I would go if the lower bleachers are pulled out, and I cannot understand why they were not the last time we held a game at the old Pit.

On the plus side, smaller crowds seem "bigger" in that place and the noise can get really deafening when everyone is cheering. Atmosphere in the new Pit is nothing like it was "back in the MVC days" at the original pit. The walls would actually shake with the noise...I kid you not. What great memories...new memories are just as good in the new Pit, but I wish the crowds would come. JJ and his team have earned the right to play before larger crowds.

Yeah, it wasn't a very fun experience. Too small time and not enough spots for fans. If it is here again, i will wait till it goes back to the SuperPit.

The Snake Pit is a nice atmosphere and I like the noise you get in there, but those bleachers are too uncomfortable, and it's too hard to get in and out of your seat to go to the concession stand or restroom. I can imagine the trouble fans with small kids have. I will wait for the first game at the Super Pit as well.
