SMU received 1 vote. Really? Have they improved that much?

Well, you can't blame June Jones for picking himself either because he's not on the poll. However, there is one very familiar name there. Perhaps if we start of the season 1-0, we'll have at least one top 25 vote for UNT? ;)

The USA TODAY Board of Coaches is made up of 59 head coaches at Division I-A institutions. All are members of the American Football Coaches Association.
