My cynicism is off the charts with pro athletes today. Just when you think "Surely HE didn't do that," you end up disappointed.

If Michael Young got caught robbing an old lady at gunpoint while sleeping with a prostitute during a cocaine binge, I would be very hurt and disappointed but wouldn't be surprised.

Nothing surprises me anymore. It's sad but yes, a few (actually more than a few) bad ones have cast a shadow over all of them.

Do I think Armstrong doped? Surely he didn't, but I won't be surprised when they find out he did.

So my vote is Yes.

Do we really care? Like most, nothing in professional sports surprises me these days. I certainly hope Lance was "clean" and he certainly has spent a good bit of time and money fighting allegations that he used PHD's, but I say "no". I think the guy is "clean", but again, it is professional sport. So, .........................

I really hope he didn't use PED's because he really has a great story. And plus there is just something so douchey about Floyd Landis. Everytime I see his face I feel like biatch slapping him and kicking his ass.

What's LeMond's beef with Armstrong other than just seeming bitter that Armstrong passed him as America's Greatest Cyclist?

I agree with Landis. How can you ever believe this guy? He's doing anything to make a buck since his career and credibility are gone.

As bad as he sucked balls under the increased scrutiny of his last attempts, I'd say yes.

The guy's a douche. Anyone spending that much time with Matthew McConehey has d-bag written all over him.

There are 2 types of champion professional cyclist. Those that have tested positive for PEDs and those that have yet to be caught.

By far the dirtiest sport in existence.

Is testing positive for PHDs necessarily a bad thing? If so, I'd say the North Texas English department is far dirtier than any cycling team.

You mean that athlete struggling to regain his former dominance as he ages means his previous accomplishments are tainted? Seems like some odd logic, though I will agree with you that spending time with McConehey puts you on the fast track to douche status.

Ironic or unfortunate?
