Wac Team For 2011 Stadium Opener ?

Guess I missed it, but did something happen to the UH Coog's being our stadium opener? ;)

Houston is still scheduled to visit the second week of 2011 (Sept. 10). We were to play @ Tenn on Sept. 3 but got out of that game and need one more OOC game to schedule, either home or away, Sept. 3 or Sept. 24. I'd prefer to be open Sept. 24 and have another home game Spet. 3, a WAC team would be excellent.

Thanks for that info, Jeff.

I had a meeting at the beginning of the month at the Athletic center. I was told that UofH is the opener for the new stadium. Also, they mentioned that a Big East opponent would be the second home game in the new stadium. They did not name the team, because the contract was not finalized.

Humm...well, if Sept. 24, 2011 is the date for our second home OOC game, future schedules show only two Big East teams with that date available: Cincinnati or USF. Cincinnati is full except that date and has NC State listed as their other OOC game already. USF does not show many OOC games scheduled yet so that would be my guess...
