Looks like a player, but this is kind of like the WR's/DB's on the football board. We need some size to replace Big George, Hogans, etc... after this year.

Hogans after redshirting will just be a junior this year.

What will we have now 6 scholarships to fill after this season?

Josh---guard

Dom----guard

Tristan---guard

George---forward

Cam Spencer---forward

Shannon Shorter--guard

Is that right? Anyway....as you can see we have plenty of guard positions to fill.

I agree, where's the beef?

This is right, but why mess with the cliche' response?

Where's UNT90 saying he thinks this kid is more of a 2 and JJ needs to bring in a pure point?

So you are really saying you think Josh is a true point guard?

He's more of a true PG than Jon Scheyer was. Sometimes it's more about what you can do when pressed into service. Was Scheyer even one of the best 10 best PG's in terms of being a true PG? He didn't even play the position until about the last 5 games of his junior year, and despite an excellent assist to turnover percentage, rarely looked like a world beater.

Ask Duke is they would rather have had Scheyer or John Wall.

Josh is probably going to go down as one of the best 20 players to ever play at NT when all is said and done. I don't give a crap if he's neither a true PG or a shooting guard. Kid is a winner.

Don't have access to Rivals, so I don't know if he is a true point or another combination guard. But, this team desperately needs a TRUE POINT GUARD.

I love Josh, and think he has done an admiral job playing out of position. Just think how much better he could be if relieved of the point guard spot and put in at the 2 guard against smaller lineups.

You mean like if we had a starting PG coming back this year from injury? If only a guy like Dominique Johnson were on the roster.

I agree to a point (pun intended?) but since there are more guards than big men we need to concentrate on them except for the very elite points and shooters.

The only outstanding big man, Odufwa, will be a senior. Unless Holmen develops there is little in the way of replacements in the front court. Edwards may prove himself but I'm not all that hopeful. We need the Yorks, Greens and Robinsons in the early going because a good, big man is harder to find.

I think that we are overbalanced with guards so it would seem appropriate to me to change the backcourt/frontcourt ratio. We need rebounders and defenders. Just my opinion.
