Nice! At first I thought he was just getting a scholarship because of who he was (though I didn't care because this is actually where he desired to go to school), but now it's looking more and more like he can actually play as well.

Daddy likey.

Speaking of Defense...so I was just comparing our 2010 commits on Rivals...noticed two things

1.) We pulled just as good of a rated class as did both Troy and Middle Tenn.

2.) Most of..if not all of our three star recruits are all defensive. I know it is just one rating site...impresses me nonetheless.

Always good to see UNT guys doing well. Congrats Blake. Another very positive is that it may have thrown some cold water on the "he's only here because of his daddy" crowd. That could help Blake in the locker room as well and certainly gives Blake and his family a bit of "relief" from the criticism surrounding the scholarship offer.

Good job Blake...welcome to the Mean Green.

Just finished watching the replay, we should be set at deep snapper for the next 4-5 years. Blake snapped for punts and Mason for extra points and field goals. Both kids played great.

You are definitely correct as UNT currently has Troy Kokjohn at the deep snapper position. Troy has shown himself to be able to handle the job at the D1 level at UNT. As soon as Troy graduates Blake and Mason should be able to take over and continue in Troy's footsteps. It's great to have underclassmen such as Blake and Mason in the wings gaining experience for thew time when they are needed.

GO MEAN GREEN!
