Well, if you are going to play them, you want to play the best they have so when you beat 'em they will have no excuse.

I know the probable outcome at Clemson, but I still hate the "we hope that our opponent's best players are sick, leave the team, etc. to improve our chances of winning" mentality.

We need to knock his a$$ down early & often. Get into his head and make him think he made the wrong decision. He will throw passes too soon and won't scramble one bit. This could be an advantage if we make it that way.

Can anybody remember a game that we won because of an opposing player's injury or illness? I can't. Just win.

I said I didn't like the mentality not whether or not it actually effected anything. That type of thinking is a loser's mentality.

Good idea. The problem is, UNT would have to, 1. have a pass rush, and 2. put into the defensive package, something called a blitz. :blink:
