I love George he had Moxie, there was always a show. How many times did he fire Billy Martin?

It was a long road with George in the 80's with a 14 year gap with out making the playoffs. He got the Yankees back to a powerhouse in the mid to late 90's.

I wonder what would have happened if his deal to buy the Cleveland Indians had gone through the year before he bought the Yankees?
