My breakout player would be LB Jeremy Phillips. I just see this guy as stepping into his own this year, love his bloodlines and his speed. He reminds me of Taylor Casey!

I'm sticking with Derek Thompson. While he (or no one else) can't duplicate his one series from last year, I believe that he will really take to Canales' tutelage and have a great year.

I think when you look at where we are there are two keys special teams and defense. With the hiring of Coach Canales the offense should be in good shape.

For breakout player I agree that unless D steps it as stated by NT03 it may be a long season. I hope the breakout player is the whole D line and the placekicker.

I hope our whole defensive line breaks out this year. If they can get a continuous pass rush and stop the run this year, our defense will improve a lot more.
