This could very well be the headline of the New York Times on August 8th...but the only way to help ensure my watery demise on August 7th is to donate and help my effort to raise money for St. Vincent's Hospital and the 2010 Swim Across the Sound.

Swim Across the Sound Donation Page

Last year my relay team raised over $10K for St. Vincent's...and the year-long programs leading up to and including the swim itself ended up raising over $3.5M to help provide cancer education, screening and prevention to the uninsured and under-insured throughout the region. This year myself and one other individual have set the ambitious goal of bettering the fundraising work of 4 people between just the two of us (ignore the $2000 goal, that was just a default setting).

If you have any questions or want further information feel free to contact me. Any and all help is certainly appreciated.

If you were smarter, you'd use the "Buy a Brick" fundraising campaign that people have been wanting us to use on the new stadium campaign.

For a few hundred (thousand?) bucks, people could have a brick with their name engraved on it tied to your leg. Sell enough bricks, and you're sure to have so much weight dragging you down that your malicious sponsors can know you won't survive the effort.

I'm in for a pair of floaties.

Made a donation this morning...don't drown...Kram1 likes liberal hippie swimmers who support the Mean Green. Thanks for doing something for a great cause. Have a great swim and raise a bunch of $$$$$$.

GO MEAN GREEN!
