Hard for me to conceive of, but I've been out of Denton for a while.

Tough for a small mall to compete when you have Dallas sitting right down the road. Not to mention Vista Ridge, Stonebrier, the Galleria, etc., etc. Golden Triangle just isn't big enough to support full size stores. Even the selections in macy's, etc. are different from the selections you get in stores at larger malls. My wife and I try to support the mercahnts at Golden Triangle Mall, but often we are left to have to go elsewhere because of size and selection cahllenges with the selections at Golden Triangle. We'll keep trying to support the mall and all local Denton businesses and hope Golden Triangle makes it. But, if you have been in Golden Triangle recently you will definitely know what I mean. Once a mall starts to decline, it is very difficult to rebound.
