I still haven't read anything other than our own posters who suggest the MWC is going to replace Utah. Boise has been to more BSC bowls but is in a smaller market. However, Boise does appear to have a strong chance of bringing the H-Bowl to the MWC. Smaller market verse new bowl - I don't know which is better. The certainly is one less Wacy bowl.

I do know the Honolulu paper has reported the Wacy TV contract can (will be) renegotiated if the Wacy membership changes. Boise was responsible for well over half the Wacy TV appearances, but, again, was a small market. Artstatefan has estimated the new Wacy TV deal will be worth a little over half what the old one was. ESPN wants a lot of late, West Coast time games and since the MWC is NOT with ESPN, only the Wacy can supply those. I guess lots of late San Jose State games!

I respect Arkstfans knowledge, however he is a little bias in favoring of the Sun Belt when posting his views.

I seem to remember the article from the Honolulu paper actually putting it at LESS than half the current deal. Some how Arkstatefan figured it was a little more. I can't find the link to the article anymore.
