Here's the article.

I didn't realize the WAC TV contract had a clause to be re-written is anyone left the WAC. Without Boise, that $4.5 million annual share is certain to drop.

Also the H-Bowl might not take a Wacy team anymore. While the WAC is a significant share holder, the contract has an escape clause is teams (read Boise) leaves the WAC.

The Honolulu paper is suggesting a WAC/MWC merger as the solution. If I'm the MWC and can pick up to of two of the Big XII survivors (from the pool of KU, KSU, MU and maybe ISU) then why do I want Fresno or Hawai'i?
