I would be shocked if the NCAA gave us any reward for improvement. They just don't consider us important enough to play nice.

Sounds like bad timing for CU to have APR issues:

*****************************************************************

Chip Brown: "The NCAA is expected bring some bad news to Boulder on Wednesday afternoon.

According to information obtained...Colorado will have scholarship reductions in both football and basketball for failing to meet NCAA APR (Academic Progress Rates).

Colorado will be the only BCS football program in the country to get NCAA APR sanctions Wednesday as the Buffs are expected to lose four football scholarships. CU is one of only two BCS basketball programs to get sanctioned (and will lose 1 hoops scollie)...

That's some tough timing while trying to impress the high-minded academics in the Pac-10."

According to my math, we must have made at least a 956 on this years APR report in order to avg a 925 over the last 4 years.

2007 report -- 916

2008 report -- 917

2009 report -- 911

2010 report -- 956

3700 / 4 = 925

Wow! That is quite a jump. Maybe I'm wrong in how the calculations are done though... If someone is enlightened, then please let us know! Either way, it will be nice to play with all of our schollies!
