I wish we were never a part of CLC. I believe they have kept many retailers from even attempting to carry UNT items. Bad marketing move.

  • (55.) The University of Montana beat out:
  • Boston College, University of South Florida, Fresno State University, The University of Memphis, Colorado State University, Vanderbilt University, The University of New Mexico, The University of Wyoming, University of Central Florida , Georgetown University, Northwestern University , University of Houston

would have never guess!

I understand the licensing agreement with CLC is quite restrictive, but why does it only seem to affect North Texas? Many other schools, Montana and Texas State for example, seem to do alright working with CLC.

You'll have to ask the AD about that one.

There must be continuing communication between UNT athletic dept. and CLC or UNT gets left out. UNT needs to question CLC every month as to status, etc. Winning certainly would help. For those of you who don"t want UNT to be licensed, hope you enjoy seeing UNT toilet seat lids and Mean Green condoms. Both these items were produced before we got a handle on using our name and logos. CLC basically caters to those who are active. Apparently UNT is not very active in keeping their licensing front and center. Of course, the big schools hog a lot a attention from CLC, which is why it is so critical that UNT stay after them to perform.
