It appears as though the lower bowl seating is being carved out. I guess they will form them up for an eventual concrete pour. :thumbsup:

It does. And, depending on how you look at it (Bad news is we cant see the whole building with this camera...Good news is the stadium will be so huge that it won't fit on this camera!), we won't be able to watch the construction of the away side of the stadium.

Time to break out the wide-angle lens for this one!

Exciting times indeed!

and a constant motion camera instead of the "every-eleven-minutes-snap-shot" camera.

I stopped by on Sunday, and that thing is looking great! By the way, down by the stairs that lead up to the balcony, they have set up a few differnt stone and brick combos to choose a facade from. They look very nice.

I really like this aspect of the stadium design.

The stadium site is on a slope from the Raddison down to Bonnie Brae. They had to remove about 15-20 feet of dirt from field level. I believe it will be about 6-8 feet below locker room level when finished and a gradual slope down to the field from the locker room.

Street level on the pressbox side you should come into the stadium onto the walkway between the upper and lower seating sections. The lower bowl on the student side will be a little taller as groundlevel there is higher.

      Future UNT football OOC games

      Of the future P4 one-for-one series, we get the Home game first with only Washington St. and Missouri. I would not be surprised if Tech, Baylor and Colorado cancelled their return games with us for just the penalty fee and scheduled additional home games to get more revenue for their NIL.       Could UNT go undefeated this year in FB?

      That's maybe the weakest schedule we've had in a long time. Could be an "opportunity" year, but I tend to think our new QBs are not going to be as good as the last guy we had. Until the freshman gets his shot...then all bets are off. That kid looks like a firework waiting to go off on tape. I could be wildly off about the Albany/Miami transfer, though. I can't even tell you any of these guy's names off the top of my head without having to look it up...which goes to show, how the heck do you have any semblance of what to expect nowadays with all the roster turnover?!

      2025 Roster Construction

      This right here. ...to the point where we had people around here clamoring for Jase Herl, Johnny Estelle, & even (perhaps loudest of all) Andre Shaw, who had never been a HC at any level before, ever. All in the name of trying to keep continuity, which certainly wouldn't have been a guarantee seeing as these guys only worked under Hodge for 2 years (or less) of their entire careers.
