So with four teams gone from Conference USA, expansion will likely open up into the Sun Belt Conference and perhaps even some of the WAC. Louisiana Tech could be a target, as could Middle Tennessee, Troy and North Texas, which would give C-USA back its presence in the Northern Texas/Oklahoma area.

The Big 12 adds TCU, Tulsa, BYU, Utah, New Mexico, Houston and Colorado State after losing Nebraska and Missouri to the Big Ten and Colorado to the Pac-10.

The Big 12 isn't very fond of private schools. I don't see the Big 12 increasing the number of private schools by 3 in their attempt to expand.

The word "big" makes this a difficult article to follow. Perhaps one league or the other (Big 12 or Big 10) could change their prefix to "terrific" or "super" or anything besides "big."

Anyone willing to bet the farm that this guy is anywhere near being right?

as long as its your farm.some of his expansion , especially west, adds almost no tv sets. ie, nevada, newmexico, etc.
