baseball is needed but non revenue sports in general are just fluff. who won the 2009 national titles in tennis, volleyball, swimming, golf, soccer, or track? me neither. we need to become a power in football and all other sports will get more respect and recognition, not the other way around.

I believe USC won the Men's tennis title and Duke won the Women's title(USC and UCLA win alot of non revenue titles, and yes, they make news here). Women's Volleyball I think was Penn State....they had some ridiculously long win streak I remember seeing on ESPN. Not sure about swimming, golf, or track(guys or girls, indoor or outdoor). Women's soccer was probably UNC because they like....always win it.

I thought Stanford was to mens tennis as UNC is to womens soccer.

They might be, but I'm pretty sure USC won last year. I know I watched the Women's title on ESPNU last year and Duke won.
