Unjel Masters left the team

KTCK just reported Unjel left the team for personal reasons, does anybody have any detaills? Also how would they know about it if there wasn't some sort of release issued?

I personally dissagree, i've seen some great games from him. Not up to his potential though.

This is Unjel right? Great games? I love the Mean Green too, but that is a little too optimistic. I just hope everything is alright with him.

Can't say I remember him ever making me say, "Wow!" I am at a game. I am not sure I ever say him hustle like I thought he should. With his body size he had a lot of potential....................it never was reached.

I have a favorable impression of Unjel as an individual and I hope he is not undergoing a terrible personal/family crisis. I appreciate his service and wish him well.

As a player, I saw him have several what I thought were good games, a few bad games, and a lot of ho-hum games. I never thought he was sufficiently assertive for the position he played and the body he has. But that is just one fan's opinion.

I still think he could contribute, but maybe he's unhappy with diminished minutes and spot play. I would guess he could feel himself being moved further down the bench from JJ and didn't feel he could fight his way back. I don't have any special information, that's strictly SWAG.

He didn't do that well this past year but he hasn't really had the chance either...

Yeah, I try not to get too concerned with scoring, rebounding, passing, hustling, playing good defense, wins, moving without the ball, etc.
