Saw an Arkstfan post that indicated that currently with 2 invites the Belt can have only one second option for a 3rd bowl at this time and the 3rd bowl option is Detroit.

Reasoning ? Don't have a clue.

AS I recall....the reasoning was that the SBC hasn't had enough history of having lots of bowl eligible teams.....to warrant more than that. (the 2 tie-ins, with a potential third one).

ESPN story says the Dallas Football Classic will take the 7th ranked Big 12 team and the 6th ranked Big Ten. That doesn't sound very classic to me.
