The Big East can hire all the consultants they can afford but it won't keep Rutgers, or others, from going to the Big 10. I guess the illusion of doing something is better than not. This article was from the WVU area and they have a legitimate concern about the strength of the Big East after the raid.

To be honest, I don't think WVU has a whole lot to worry about. If the Big 10 gets to raiding the Big East (and the Big XII?), the chain reaction will be enough to open a couple holes in the ACC.
