Not Taylor Mays, not Taylor Mays, not Taylor Mays. Right now I'm ready for all DFW pro sports coaches to be canned and if Jerry works his magic and trades first and second round picks to end up with 25 7th rounders like he always does I may explode. Personally I like Devin McCourty out of Rutgers if the Cows stay put, but I think they should probably move up and out.

Dez Bryant...the league's next "Randy Moss". To this day Jerry is kicking himself for not taking Moss when he had the chance. He might see this as "redemption time" and go for Bryant...if he falls a bit in the draft which is highly possible. Hey, the guy forgot his shoes at his own pro-day event!

Look, as an OSU alum, I can tell you this kid is not a bad kid or a discipline problem. Goofy he is...and I would definitely not let him too close to Marty B on the Cowboys should they draft him, and definitely NEVER let them room together, but Dez Bryant should not be a "problem child" for the Cowboys should they take him.

That being said, one never knows "until they know" what new-found $$$$$ millions will do to any kid.

I like Dez Bryant for the pick.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, I think the only way they get Bryant is if they trade up. He's a top 10 talent, and there will definitely be a team in the early 20's who will pick him up if he is still there.

Agreed. I'm all for Bryant if he is there, but a team with strong leadership like the Ravens (Ray-Ray stab you if foget yo shoes) will pick him up before the Cows can take him.

In the pit of my stomach I've got the feeling Mays is gonna be our next Ken Hamlin/Roy williams non-playmaking starter at safety....

If Mays sacks Kevin Kolb twice in the same game, would that change your mind?

First of all, not a chance in hell of that happening. There's only one bamf capable of that kind of feat.

Secondly, again I ask will those not interested in "discussing" the cowboys draft please keep your funny remarks to yourselves. Trying to keep this thread on topic is like "wrangling

goats."

There is always room for some tomfoolery, even you worked in the word bamf into your comment. I will be taking part in the KSK live draft chat and anyone who desires to chuckle and ignore Berman tell the same jokes he has for 29 years should do the same.

On the draft there is no way the Cows are taking Taylor Mays. The people who study the league rather than the team are picking him at 27, but those close to Valley Ranch know that they will not touch Mays. The Cowboys are going to trade out of the first round, because that's what Double J does. I have no basis for this, but maybe Pete Carroll will want to get in on Mays for a second and a swap of third rounders. What this team needs is a tackle. Unfortunately none of the tackles that will be available will warrant a first round pick.

Can you guess what Jerry Jones has in common with Tom Hicks?

Well, from personal experience, too much teeth?
