Well, Baylor is losing some talent. Perhaps they think they can rehabilitate his game. Some players thrive under Howland, others not so much. We'll see how Morgan does in Waco

Morgan just doesn't fit Baylor's style of game.. He's looking at 10/15 minutes a game. If his goal was to get to the NBA he would have gone to a mid major and developed his game

Not to mention is work ethic has already been questioned and now he is going to sit out a whole year.

Well he basically sat out the last two already.

Two words: Ekpe Udoh, he transferred from Michigan and after one season he is going to be a 1st round pick.

"Ekpe has a personality that makes him a perfect fit for Baylor basketball," Baylor coach Scott Drew said. "He'll be a great representative of our program. His accolades speak for themselves; he led the Big Ten in blocks and was on the league's all-defensive team. Baylor fans will enjoy watching him play."

Just a little bit better of a resume coming in than Morgan.

He could have done great at UNT, instead he will be a nobody at Baylor. Expect 15 minutes a game and 5 points, 5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks from him and no NBA career.

The Baylor fans are discussing their excitement about J'mison Morgan being available:

Bear Fans discuss J'mison Morgan

Well, after two years at UCLA being the brunt of their jokes, it's nice to see that J'mison is making the wise decision and going somewhere that he's really wanted and where he'll get plenty of opportunity to reach his potential.

Didn't seem to be alot of excitement in that thread to me?

I believe that's what the french call "sarcasm".

It's a coping mechanism. It's the often forgotten 6th Stage of Grief.

And I usually pick up sarcasm well. Perhaps it's just Adler has been so pro Morgan, I couldn't see him being sarcastic.

That's the point. Baylor would probably be an even bigger mistake for J'mison than was UCLA. He may get some playing time in Waco but he likely will never become a featured player. Unlike at UCLA though, there is no way to correct this mistake by transferring again.

J'mison has got to stop letting other people shop him around and he needs to do what is best for him.
