Did anyone else notice that in the second half of the game, the defense seemed to be more creative in blitzing against Thompson? They brought a lot of different looks, including a CB blitz, but I don't recall the blitz coming against Tune with the same kind of creativity and frequency.

Was there a "no hit" rule on the QB this year?

I didn't really like the "down on touch" rule... I completely understand it, but I think it makes some of the plays really cheap...

There is a big difference between touching a quarterback and tackling him...

A number of big plays occur off of quarterback scrambles and it is pretty rare that a qb can't throw the ball away before he is sacked...

I know why they did it, but I hate to see the qb not get a chance to make something from nothing...

Unless I was hallucinating, I saw at least one all-out blitz yesterday. We used to see one occasionally but it has seemed to be extinct for the last few years. Will we have more sightings in the fall?
