Hey guys. I think some of you may be interested in attending this. I will definitely be there.

The Sci Fi Expo returns to the Richardson Civic Center this April 24-25!

Media Guests:

Adam Baldwin (Chuck, Serenity/Firefly) Saturday Only

Bruce Boxleitner (Tron Legacy, Tron, Babylon 5) Saturday Only

Mira Furlan (Lost, Babylon 5) Saturday Only

Kate Vernon (Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Star Tek Voyager)

Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica)

Deep Roy (Star Trek, Return of the Jedi, Charlie & The Choc Factory)

Star Wars Guests: Dickey Beer, Alan Harris, Daniel Logan, Roger Christian, Mike Edmonds & Mike Quinn

Comic Guests: Brian Denham, James O’Barr, Keith Wilson, Ben Dunn, Chad Thompson, Andrew Mangum, Cal Slayton & Lawrence Reynolds

All guests are attending both days unless otherwise noted. Hours are Saturday 11am-6pm, and Sunday 12pm to 4pm. The show is located at the Richardson Civic Center on the Southwest corner of Arapaho Road and 75 Central Expressway.

I tried to find the video. I wanted to hear about special guest appearances by Mark Hamill, A.L.F., and many more.

You stupid nerds! He's trying to save you money on long distance!!

"Mayored to the Mob" is the most quotable episode in series history. Every single line and most of the background text is all quotable brilliance.

I got Adam Baldwin's autograph last time he came through. *hubba hubba* He's as big and buff in person as he looks in the movies. Nice, too. Listened to a great panel discussion with him and Alan Tudyk about Serenity/Firefly. *sigh*

Adam, Alan and Nathan Fillion make listening to my husband and kids playing Halo:ODST bearable.

And, a last plug for the sci-fi con: these guys typically put on pretty good shows, too. I was at the last one with Sean Patrick Flanery of The Boondock Saints. He also gave a great panel discussion on his career. Now, I just gotta decide which shirt I wanna wear: "Seduced by the Dork Side" or (written in elvish) "If you can read this, I found your ring."

Talk Nerdy to me. :)

Speaking of Alan Tudyk, he is in a "new" movie called Tucker and Dale vs Evil and it is really great. It's been doing the festival circuit, I saw it at the Dallas Film Festival, but it should go to wide release this year.

Oooh, thanks for that. He is really very nice. When I got his autograph and at an earlier con, I got all tongue-tied but he was super sweet in spite of me being starstruck. :)

      UTSA and Traylor likely heading to Pac12

      Every podcast I read say that the "new" PAC won't get anymore than yesterdays MWC, which is about #4 to $5 million per team. Assuming most media viewing is in west coast and rockies there 3 schools don't increase the PAC's media value at all.That would be a good raise for UTSA and the other 5 schools who left CUSA and are getting 1/2 a share. However for Memphis and Tulane its probably a push. If we get to AFA for football and Texas State for all sports the AAC will be ok.

      " And the like. " Are you sure you are not a SMU want-a-be? For the unwashed UNT and UTA are the most affordable 4 year choices in the neighborhood. By the by, UNT Frisco seems to be thriving, probably because they are not being pulled down by students from Lewisville, Grand Prairie ,Arlington, Garland and the like.
