Hopefully they will find an "Athletics-friendly" new President again. I can't believe the process could go until the Feb. 2011 BOR meeting. Not a good time to be without a leader when the Tier 1 criteria is being pushed.

This information was also published in yesterday's print edition of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. I think it is a good deal for him to be leading this group. He has a real interest in athletics - among other things. He was chairman of the board of regents when the funding for the Athletic center was found and also when Dr. B was hired as president. We will be in good shape with him as head of the group.

I will be fascinated to see what sort of person wants to be president of UNT and have Lee Jackson breathing over his/her shoulder all the time.

Someone hand selected by Lee "Dallas" Jackson to be his personal yes-man/woman. No one else would risk thier career by taking the position.

It seems politician Jackson wants UNT to remain an affordable commuter school, with a bunch of smaller affordable commuter schools in it's system. No need to strive to be better, because that doesn't seem to be a priority to the person leading this university.

As long as "Slick" Rick Perry is govenor, then Lee Jackson will be in charge of the UNT system. Are there any other questions?
