The reclamation project Lama has performed is astounding.

This is nice to have,but the ladies need to focus on Denver this Fridayin order to cinch up the #2 seed for Conference behind FIU. Regardless Lama has done a great job and he has two excellent coaches backing him up.

To be fair the Tennis has always won quite a few matches, but were beating the lower tier teams such as SFA, SHSU, and such, then would lay an egg in a big match against a ranked school.

Lama's record is also not as impressive currently because of what happened in his first year where he was playing 3 walk-ons, so he had no chance of winning. The two previous coaches Traxler and Denny all did well but could never crack the ranking nor into the Top Tier of Sun Belt schools, Lama now has UNT firmly in the Top 3-4 teams the last 3 years.

Local fans hopefully you can make it over to the Tennis Center on Friday to catch the Denver match as it will be huge for the team, then they play Louisville on Sunday.
