We have really got to improve out OOC schedule. Any game that keeps White to 3 points will likely be a loss, you know? Stiil - very proud to see the Mean Green in the big dance today, despite the outcome.

K State's late season competition was bound to help them to a certain extent. A couple of Kansas games plus many other tough games can get you ready for the post-season. Not easy to do, but it sure would be nice if we could schedule a competitive OOC game during the last quarter of next season. There probably is a bit of a preparation difference in an SBC vs a Big 12 schedule when you're getting down to tourney time.

...and whatever it is they do to prepare for tourney time in the Southland Conference would be good too? Baylor isn't K State, but they are no slouch either.

So should we go back to the Southland?

No, SHSU usually wins by the three ball, but that wasn't the case today against Baylor. Just one of those things where they managed to keep it close with good defense, and Baylor being fairly cold from the field in the first half. Wish we would have had a major three ball game equalizer this year, but that just didn't happen. Personally, although he started out slow this year, I think TT was under utilized a bit this season in that area. Sure would be nice if we could find a bomber to come off the bench next year. Probably wouldn't of mattered much today though.

CBS 11 did a great post tourney and recap of the season tonight at the end of their local news last tonight. Hopefully someone can find a link to a replay for here?
