Teams not making the 65-team Tourney cut that seemed to be regulars:

UCLA, Indiana, North Carolina, UConn, Arizona, Arkansas, and Memphis are all no-shows.

First time entry Ark.-Pine Bluff started this season 0-11, all on the road. They rebounded to 17-15 and won the SWAC tourney. They're in the play-in game today against Winthrop, all for the honor of opening with Kentucky in the real Tourney.

Shouldn't they open against Kansas as the lowest seed?

They try and send the winner to a 1 seed that plays on Friday - to give them more time to recover from the 64/65 game.

You know, I've often been bothered by the fact that the overall number 1 seed almost never ends up playing the winner of the play in game. I assume it has something to do with geography...but it is still weird and contributes even more Duke's douchey-ness that they get that pairing.

Can't wait for Baylor to go all Carlton Dotson on those whities.
