Shortly after the thunderous cheers and applause died at the Pour House bar where the North Texas men's basketball team celebrated the announcement of its NCAA Tournament site and opponent, university interim president Phil Diebel offered his insight to a friend.

i started liking him when he talked about locking himself in the bathroom for the ncaa tourny game becuase that's where he was when we won the SBC tourny...

After learning that his school was on their way to Oklahoma City to face the wildcats UNT chancellor Lee Jackson had this to say;

"If we were playing the game in Dallas I'd pick us as the favorite. As it stands I just hope we can keep it close."
