Man, how bad does that early conference season loss to FIU at home hurt now?

I hold out little hope of any sudden change in the tie breaking system, but I bet you see a change prior to next season. Troy was given a gift. I hope they appreciate that fact.

That hurt really, really bad. I was actually so pissed off at the time that I wanted to abandon the team, but a cooler head prevailed, of course. Had we one that one, which we clearly should have, we would not have any of the seeding talk. UNT would be #1 no questions asked.

Why shouldn't the MUTS get to hang a banner, they are co-champions just as NT is? Of course, they are division co-champions as well as conference co-champions. NT is division champions and conference co-champions. I have never understood the harangue over the 2001 football championship, MTSU were definitely conference co-champions. They lost the tiebreaker to NT for the bowl game, just as apparently NT and the MUTS have lost the tiebreaker for tournament seeding to Troy.

I always thought that the SBC tournament determined the conference champ, while the regular season determined the division champion?? Me so confused.
