The North Texas Golf Team won a tournament in San Antonio, beating out teams from Rice, and the University of Houston. The team had not finished first in a tornament sense 2005, and a NT senior took the individual title. Great job guys.

Our golf program holds 4 National Golf Championships, and as a fan of NT and golf in general, this news makes me very happy. Sorry I don't have a link to the story. Maybe someone can add a link.

We finally have a coach that is out recruiting and wants to bring a winner to NT. They placed 5th in the first tourney of the spring with 4 Freshman playing. Future is bright for NT Golf. I expect NT to be in the Top 20 within the next few years.

The last poll from Golfweek has North Texas is ranked 80th. We were something like 118th a few weeks ago.

The girls went into the final round of the Islander today, with the lead. I hope they held on.
