Averaging 16.6ppg and shooting 38% from 3.

Another name on that roster though is former Kimball guard Darian Thibodeaux...I know JJ was in on him out of high school...10.8ppg, 37% from 3.

I'm still hoping for a D-1 transfer...namely Paschal's own Konner Tucker, now late of Wake Forrest.

CBL, I had no idea Konner was leaving WF. That kid is a stud, saw him play a few times in HS. Are you a PHS grad?

I went to Arlington Hieghts...so your once upon a time rival, but by the time I was there we were different districts and neither school really cared about the other anymore.

UNT 90...Konner is a combo with size...he was expected to eventually play 10-15 min a night on the 1 at Wake. If he can play ACC 1, he can play SBC 1. Think a better Kevin Kanaskie.

Kanaskie always struck me as more of a pastry chef than a "1".

Maybe an architectural draftsman. MAYBE. But not really a point guard.

No no, was referring to Pressey. I'd take Konner in a heart beat.

My bad. I'd think I'd still take Pressey...he's leading Navarro in scoring as a freshman, he'd still have 3 years of eligibility and no point guard signee will significantly crack the guard rotation next year. I think Pressey for Mangrum would be a significant improvement in the 10-11 guard rotation...you'd be pressed to land at least 1 PG in 11-12, but hopefully next years team will take the jump in improving recruiting profile.

All that said...the name Darian Thibodeaux scares the crap out of me. He was high on JJ's radar 2 years ago and JJ loves to nab guys with whom he is familiar (KD, Shorter, Odufuwa ect). Its panned out in most case, but Thibodeaux is a one-dimensional shooter (hes hit a total of 71 shots this season...53 of them threes), a junior, and a guy who I don't think adds much over Mangrum for next year and certainly doesn't help build long term.
