You know of any available WR coaches that have more experience that would want to come here for 1 year ?

Our options are limited at this point

We were in the same situation with finding an OC. WR coach should be an easier find. Many programs just went through major reshuffles and I'm sure several veteran coaches are still in a job hunt.

I imagine we have been searching for a WR Coach for a while now, and if we have not settled on the candidate yet we are probably down to finalists by now.

I really think we will do very well.

could this be a money saving thing? maybe someone else will pick up this responsibility, so we can afford to pay canales more money than our last oc.

I realize you posted this before the DMN article was linked here, but

Dodge said George’s position could be posted as soon as tomorrow and that he would begin the search for a new wide receivers coach immediately.

“I am excited about going out and seeking the best possible coach we can get,” Dodge said. “We are going to do our due diligence, myself and [new offensive coordinator Mike Canales]. Spring ball is getting close. The sooner the better, but we don’t want to leave any stone unturned.”

With dumb and dumber gone this team should win 7 games

This is an honest question as I really don't know...I mean no slam...but, are you a high school coach or a real estate salesman...or perhaps both?

And if you are or were a HS coach, why do you slam those in your profession so often?

I am a retired engineer and have a real estate license in the state of Texas. The father of a UNT grad. I have said the same thing about the two coaches in question for three years. I have never bad mounthed the Dodge's or will I. I liked DD but knew it was time for a change how it was handled was in question but that is history. Go to every away game and love to see the boys play.

And we are better for having you in our fold. Appreciate your thoughts as always and hope all is well PHS!
