Nice job tonight folks. Y'all kept up the spirit throughout the game. I think my kids were more fascinated with the spinning lollipops than scrappy.

By the way, has TheTastyGreek mentioned here before that his seats in the Super Pit have the greatest sight lines of anyone?

Our largest crowd of the year at 3872. We're now averaging 2414 for the season, which is our lowest number in about 4 years.

Between the noon start on a weekday, all the holiday games while students were out on breaks, the Sunday games against NFL football, the Saturday game that got moved and still semi-conflicted with Cowboys playoff football, the lack of any home opponent that could draw a significant crowd of local alums (either ours or theirs) or casual fans...

Finishing with an average of 2500 or higher seems like it would be damn near a miracle. If we get 3059 for the last two home games, we'll get there.

I wasn't exactly complaining, just so happens that perhaps our best team of this run since our '07 championship team would draw the least.

I didn't peg you for complaining. I was just thinking out loud on the situation.

But if you want to fight about something... I'll throw down. :bangin:

The home games during christmas kill us but i know we cant help that. And for whatever dumb reason we had 2 Sunday home games in December at 3pm? Killed our attendance this year. You would think that with our winning the last 4 years that the attendance would be about 3,500-4,000 a game and i guess it is when students are in town. I wonder if our game being moved to 3 next week will affect us? Lot of kids have afternoon b-ball games. Why did they change it ?

Is Saturday the re-scheduled date for the Emerald Ball? Only thing I could think of as to why you move the game to 3PM.

The date of the Emerald Ball was not changed, only the location. The Emerald Ball will be held on February 27 at the Gaylord Texan.
