Exactly. I'd love to see MTSU or ASU have to deal with them. I'd like to avoid WKU if at all possible, or as long as possible. There's 3 teams that make me nervous in the tourney at the moment.

FIU(seem to match up well against us)

WKU(the historical goliath with winning in their DNA)

ASU(young team who seems to have better athletes)

Even tho we've lost to other schools(and haven't to WKU) I'll take my chances against anyone else. Those 3 I want to avoid as long as possible.

I agree, but flip ASU and WKU for me, if only because they not only beat us twice, but will have a solid home crowd advantage.

Oh I was just posting those in no particular order. They all trouble me greatly.

Updated RPI's after last night

154 North Texas

159 Denver

163 Troy

170 ASU

173 WKU

186 MTSU

203 FAU

221 USA

240 ULL

256 ULM

282 FIU

285 UALR

331 UNO

Those RPI's always frustrate me this time of year. We win a few games in a row but move slightly down because of the competition. Overall, the Sun Belt sure seems weak at the moment. Am I wrong in assuming that this is about the worst the conference has been in years?

No question...when UNT made the NCAA's as a 15 seed we were a 5(?) seed heading into the SBC tourney...top conference seeds WKU and USA were 12, 10 and 12 over the past 2 years. This year 15 may be as high as anyone can get.

I do take solace in knowing that our OOC next year should be much improved...and that I think most of the SBC teams, especially ASU and FAU, are on the rise...and as much as I hate losing UNO, losing a down program will help RPI.
