Spring Schedule

I thought I saw references to the spring practice schedule and spring game dates a while back but can't find that info now. Does anyone know if the dates have been announced? If so, please enlighten us.

Here is a rough time line:

Superbowl on Sunday

At that point my TV will go metro' from all the Winter Olympics, and American Idol. Just when you think you have reached the point of insanity, based on too much male figure skating; spring practice will begin. And life will be better again.

The Winter Olympics are there to remind us how much we miss football and how quickly that empty feeling develops... Arena used to fill that void for me, at least a little bit, but now even that is gone....

This is exactly why I am advocating bringing back the Xtreme Football League. What was so bad about it anyway?

Better than arena football? check.

Bringing in elements of WWE? check.

Ridiculous Team names? check.

What's not to like?

Dallas Vilgilantes @ AAC first game 4/30. No longer affiliated w/Jerry Jones, new owner was owner of Tampa Bay Storm in prior arena league. If anything like the Desperadoes, it will rock. Great game experience and the hottest dancers in the metroplex pro sports. Not to mention getting to see Evan Cardwell and other NT and SBC players in the league!!!!!!!

Yes, the new owner is a personal friend and is from the Denton area. Go check out a game during the 'down time' between football being over and baseball beginning. They're pretty fun.

We had Desperadoes season tickets and they have been calling me nonstop. We did enjoy the games, but I'm planning on putting that money towards a larger MGC donation and a small stadium donation. We'll probably go to a couple Vigilantes games. (I like the Desperadoes name better, but apparently Jerry wouldn't let them have it.)

So to keep on topic, I work one Sunday a month and, of course, April 11 is it! I'm hoping to finagle a trade with a co-worker so we can go.
