Question about UNT band

Is there anyone out there familiar with

the UNT marching band? The Green Brigade?

I need some information. My niece got a

scholarship to a junior college for band.

She plays the clarinet.

I'd like her to give UNT a try next year. Do they give

band scholarships? I don't think she plans

to be a music major, it's more of a way to

pay for school.

The most you can get with a Wind Studies (that'd be her if she plays clarinet) Scholarship is $1000 a year. They only give out a certain amount per instrument, and they are EXTREMELY competitive. You almost have to be a performance major to get one.

P.S. There aren't any scholarships through the Green Brigade, that i know of atleast. Hope that helps!
