To honor Walt Parker?

How about the possibly going real old school at homecoming and having '68' as the logo of the helmet for that game a la Alabama?

RV's board-droppers...get his attention for something like this.

Also, the new stadium...Walt Parker Stadium? Think about it. Who did more on and off the field for more years for North Texas than Walt?

The stickers, or some kind of patch, to honor Mr. Parker sounds like a great idea.

However, naming the stadium after him is a little touchier subject. The university is looking to sell naming rights. Even if no one has bought the rights when the stadium first opens, if someone wants to buy those rights later on, what are we going to do? Take Walt Parker's name off the stadium after it has been on it? Noble thought, though.

Check out the helmet in that photo? Notice the design? If it’s color is similar to color photos of the same similar helmet I’ve seen in early Yucca’s in the Alumni Center, it should also be Green and White, and in the similar design, as most leather helmets were back then, as the modern U. of Michigan helmets today. Very cool history in my opinion. And I’m with TFLF on the suggestion as well.
